Mom's Peanut Butter Power Snacks

This recipe is a wonderful homemade bar that offers a delicious, quick and very healthy solution for breakfast or a snack!

Ingredients:

320g of Mom's Healthy Secrets original Tropical or Raisin cereal

1 container of natural peanut butter (at room temperature)

1 - 4 tablespoons honey (sweeten to taste)

  1. Empty peanut butter into a mixing bowl, stir to even out the texture.
  2. Mix honey to peanut butter to sweeten.
  3. Begin adding Mom's Healthy Secrets Raisin or Tropical Fruit to mixture and continue to stir.
  4. Roll two tablespoons into a ball and flatten by hand into a cookie shape.
  5. Leave in the refrigerator and grab and go in the morning or for a snack!

Mom's Healthy Cookies

This cookie is a healthier option for you and your family and tastes great! Makes approximately 36 cookies.

Ingredients:

1 cup soft butter or olive oil margarine

1 ½ cup brown sugar

2 eggs Mix / cream well together

In a separate bowl mix together

2 cups Mom’s Healthy Secrets Tropical Fruit or Raisin

2 cups of whole wheat flour

1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp baking powder

1 cup of raisins or 1 cup of dried cranberries

  1. Stir dry mixture evenly into wet mixture.
  2. Spoon onto a cookie sheet.
  3. Bake at 400˚F for approximately 8 minutes or until slightly brown on top.

Mom’s Healthy Secrets Square Treats

This recipe feautres our "Signature" cereals and is a flavour-packed portable snack

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons butter or margarine

1 package (about 40) regular marshmallows
or
4 cups miniature marshmallows

6 cups Mom’s Healthy Secrets OmegaActive, FibreFit or VibraBerry

  1. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add Mom’s Healthy Secrets cereal.
  5. Stir until well coated.
  6. Using buttered spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with butter or margarine to make sure it doesn’t stick.
  7. Cool.
  8. Cut into 2-inch squares. Best if served the same day.
